Delaware Maryland Synod
The Delaware - Maryland Synod is a group of 186 congregations that work together to share more effectively the Good News of Jesus Christ with their communities, welcoming all to share in the fellowship of God's people. Its purpose is to provide services to the congregations and approximately 92,000 baptized members on its territory, providing resources, encouraging them in all facets of ministry, and advocating at the state and local levels for justice for all people.

Lutheran Services in America, which moved its national headquarters to Baltimore in December 2001, is an alliance of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and their social ministry organizations. It provides a national network of social service and long-term care programs serving all people, not just Lutherans. The site offers a searchable index of social ministry organizations, information on public policy and on the government's faith-based initiative, a menu of publications and news releases, and lots of other items of interest.

Lutheran Senior Services of Sussex County, Inc. is made up of members of the four Lutheran Churches in Sussex County for the purpose of providing housing and related facilities and services for low and moderate income families and persons as a non-profit corporation; to identify and analyze housing needs and problems; to stimulate or develop an adequate response to meet the housing needs not being satisfied by normal commercial channels, to plan, construct, own, operate, manage, maintain, rehabilitate, alter, convert, improve, rent and sell housing and related facilities and services for low and moderate income families and persons on a non-profit basis.
